Hi there, just 'fell' upon this site by accident. Spent the last hour or so reading all the guestbook comments/memories. I moved to Dursley from London in January 1964, first to 14 Cedar Drive then to 41 Springfields. I went to Dursley Sec. Mod. till 1968. Worked at Lister's for about a year then went to Mawdsley's for another couple of years before marrying Les Gazzard from Elmwood House, Cambridge. Did a couple Saturday jobs, fresh fish shop on the corner of May Lane, then the bakers (made cakes on the premises; where I learned how to stuff the jam into doughnuts!!) next door or so to Baxters Butchers, this is where Les worked for a few years until we married in 1971 (41 years now, and yes, some said it wouldn't last, fooled ya!). We have two children, Ivan & Fay, Fay has two children, Dan 16 & Becky 13. Reading through this site and looking at old pictures brought back happy memories for me too. Thank you Andy and all who have donated their recollections.
