Does anyone remember what we used to call the castle on the Norman Hill estate?

I moved to St Georges Rd in 1973 aged 2 while the estates were being built and have recently heard of the tower/castle, what was it? What was it for and when was it demolished? Also about a large pond, where were they? on Norman hill or Holywell orchard? As there is a lot of red bricks in the undergrowth!

Could this be to do with the substantial Norman Hill House which once stood up by the Big Trees on Norman hill playing fields and was owned by the owner of Cam Mills?
