Great little website, I love Berney Arms station, a little British nuttiness, wonderful. Strangely remote and yet appealing, I want to go there now.

The ITV Drama Series 'Kingdom' starring Stephen Fry, featured Berney Arms mill and area in a flyover shot in its opening credits this last Sunday evening. Not sure it its the same images every week. Mill looks good!

Part of the Quay Heading at The Berney Arms was up for sale in September 2007.
Does anyone know if the land was sold.

I had a look at your very fine website to find out if the Berney Arms sold real ale and I was delighted to see that it did. What a waste of a lovely pub if it didn't! I look forward to a 3 hour lunchtime visit between trains from and back to Great Yarmouth in the Summer of 2008.

HELLO

Was wondering if anyone could help me. Been looking at the Hewitt family tree. Does anyone know the parents of Edward Hewitt 1781? and the family tree before then. Where did the Hewitts come from before they were in the Reedham area? Or have they always been there? Just really interested.

Love this site loads.

Used to transport Robinson's passengers from Liverpool in the 1970s and have also had a few holidays in Great Yarmouth. Will return one day to have a look at the places I have stayed at.

Part of the quay heading at The Berney is for sale by auction on 19.9.07. There is a for sale board displayed on the quay heading approx 100 yards the Berney Inn side of the Berney Mill. The auction is for approx 80 feet of Quay heading and for a half acre of land. The site is possibly where one of the cottages once stood.

This site is where the bungalow and cottages once stood. The histories of these buildings is in my book Berney Arms Remembered.

We stayed at the holiday cottage on Acle Station a few years ago and got off the train at Berney Arms and walked back to Acle. Wonderful place.

Felt compelled to have a look at this site having watched the fascinating feature on the Tony Francis/Selina Scott prog last night. What an enthralling place - almost ethereal. It wouldn't have been out of place as the lonely setting or location for one of those Ghost Stories at Christmas they used to do!

Just passing by after catching last nights programme about Berney Arms. Who knew such places existed?!

I'll be sure to put on my list of places to visit - can't wait.

Well done for a really interesting site.

Nice to find a website that tells you something a little out of the ordinary. I had no idea the station existed at all. I must visit one day.
