Does anyone know the history of Kingshill House

I was born in a Nursing Home at Kingshill in the 40's and wonder if Kingshill House could have been used as a Nursing Home during the war.

If not, was there another building in Kingshill that was used as a Nursing Home?

I think the place you're referring to was a house in Kingshill Park which was once used as a small nursing home. The house is still there but is now just a regular private house.

Just joined this site and it's really good. I too was born in Kingshill Park Nursing home in 1946 and only this weekend after putting flowers on Mum and Dad's grave I was going to have a look for the home, but was told it is now just a normal house. Thanks once again as no one believed me when I said there was a Nursing home in Kingshill Park.
