George William Richmond

Hello

I am exploring my Grandmother's family, she was Eveline Esther Richmond (born 1876 around Warley, Salop).
With the help of the Birmingham History Forum have found that her father was George William Richmond, born in Dursley in 1849, her mother Alice Jane Lee. His father, again George William Richmond, probably came from Walsall and his mother was Mary Pitcher.
The main interest of my search is to find the link between the Grandfather George William R and the well known portrait painter George Richmond (father of William Blake Richmond).
There also appears to be another link through Mary Pitcher with Rowland Hill's family (Penny Black) and Sarah Lea (not Rowland Hill's mother). The name Beasley has also been mentioned.

I would be most grateful if you could shed some light on these people or direct me to where I might find out more. I live in Scarborough so visiting is not an option.

Many thanks,
Anne.
