I think you're right that a company in Cam bought the rights to Harrold's old products though I'm not sure what name they now operate under.

Harrold's isn't making ropes or belts in Dursley any more, although I understand the business may have been sold many years ago. I'm not sure where it moved to though.

I can confirm that this poem was definitely penned by Mr E.H. Kemp. It was written in October 1949 and sold for six pence with all proceeds going towards the cost of new curtains (£15) for the Tabernacle School Hall in Dursley.
