Re: Longstreth
Hi Samantha, just read your post again and realise you must either be Ian, Terry or Mary's daughter. Mum and Dad went to the second marriage of Uncle Arthur to Jean at Egypt Mill in Nailsworth (where I live) and we met them when we went to give them a lift home. Mum was very close to Uncle Arthur an...

When a child I lived at Teetotallers Cottages, Noggins Hole, Hopton Road, Upper Cam and my best friend lived at Everlands so regularly crossed the Gallows Bridge to meet up after school. I remember a serious accident where a young child fell through the wooden Gallows Bridge onto the railway lines a...

Re: Grace family in Dursley circa 1800
A Grace family lived at the Croft when I lived there which would be from the 1930's as I think they bought the house from Cam Mills, as did my grandfather. Mrs Grace was a hairdresser, they had two children and the son still lives there as far as I know.

Re: Norman Hill House, Cam
This is very interesting. Does anyone know what year this photo was taken?
